Sensor gas seri RKI Direct Connect sangat andal dan sangat hemat biaya untuk mendeteksi bahaya gas yang umum. Seri sambungan langsung tersedia untuk LEL, LEL Khusus H2, LEL IR, Oksigen, H2S, CO, CO2, dan berbagai gas beracun. Sensor untuk LEL, H2, Oksigen, H2S, CO2, dan Karbon Monoksida tahan ledakan dengan penahan api, dan disetujui untuk digunakan di area berbahaya (Kelas 1, Div. 1 Grup B, C, D). Versi opsional anti-ledakan tersedia untuk oksigen, H2S, CO, dan CO2 untuk digunakan di Kelas 1 Div 2.
Sensor Direct Connect dapat digunakan dengan dua cara berbeda. Sensor dapat dipasang langsung ke pengontrol sebagai sistem yang berdiri sendiri, atau dapat dipasang ke kotak sambungan tahan ledakan untuk deteksi jarak jauh.
Sensor racun adalah sensor plug-in tipe elektrokimia, yang memberikan spesifisitas tinggi, respons cepat, dan masa pakai yang lama. Desain plug-in memungkinkan penggantian cepat di lapangan tanpa memerlukan alat. Sensor racun dirancang untuk digunakan di lokasi berbahaya Kelas I, Div. 2. Sensor tersedia untuk NH3, AsH3, Cl2, ClO2, HCN, PH3, dan SO2.
Sensor Direct Connect dapat digunakan di dalam maupun di luar ruangan. Penahan api untuk versi tahan ledakan menggunakan lapisan yang dipatenkan yang membuatnya anti air. Selain itu, pelindung percikan juga tersedia untuk digunakan di lingkungan yang sangat basah. Kotak sambungan baja tahan karat opsional tersedia untuk lingkungan yang korosif.
Semua sensor Direct Connect dirancang untuk secara khusus berinteraksi dengan pengontrol RKI Beacon 110, 200, dan 410A.
